Perpetrator’s Family Misuses NAACP Position April 27, 2011

Filed under: Uncategorized — Silsbee Rape Case @ 6:19 pm

In this video, Reverend Billy Ray Robinson from the Jasper branch of the NAACP protests the indictment of Rakheem Bolton and Christian Rountree for their involvement in raping Hillaire. Problem is, Reverend Robinson is Bolton’s great uncle, so his use of his NAACP position was unethical. Will the NAACP do right by Hillaire and denounce this act?

Justice for Hillaire

Filed under: Uncategorized — Silsbee Rape Case @ 5:57 pm

Silsbee, Texas

Hillaire S. was 16-years-old in October of 2008 when star athletes, Rakheem Bolton and Christian Rountree, brought her into a dark room with two other guys at a house party and locked the door. According to Hillaire and other witnesses, Bolton penetrated her while Rountree held her down. Hearing her cries of “no” and “stop,” three teens at the house party broke through the door.  The perpetrators fled out a window they broke, Bolton without his clothes. He came back to the house to get his clothes and threatened to kill everyone at the party.

Bolton and Rountree were arrested, but a grand jury refused to indict them three months later because the Silsbee police and the district attorney didn’t do their job. Hillaire’s classmates and many in the town of Silsbee turned against her, calling her a “slut” and a “bitch” for standing up for herself.  Another grand jury did eventually indict Bolton and Rountree, but in the meantime, Hillaire was kicked off the cheerleading squad for refusing to cheer for Bolton.

Bolton got a slap on the wrist when he pled guilty to simple Assault in September, 2010. The charges against Rountree were dropped in January of 2011 for no apparent reason.

Justice was not served in the criminal case because of crooked politicians and hero-worship for athletes in East Texas, but Hillaire has a civil suit against the school for violating her First Amendment rights that has been petitioned to the Supreme Court.

The intent of this blog is to bring some justice to Hillaire by telling the truth about what happened.
